| PPSC Senior Assistant Qualification/ Eligibility | (i) Possesses the Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or Institution; and (ii) Qualifies in the competitive test specified by the appointing authority from time to time; and (iii) Possesses at least One Hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001, certified. OR Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India; (2) The person so appointed as Senior Assistant in terms of the Provisions of sub-rule (1), shall have, before his appointment, (passed a test in English and Punjabi respectively typewriting on Computer to be conducted by the Board or the appointing authority or the Department of Information Technology, as the case may be, at speed of thirty words per minute: |

| PPSC Senior Assistant Selection Process | 1. Written Competitive Examination (120 Question,480 marks) 2. The typing tests will be conducted after the written competitive examination, after shortlisting based on written test merit. 3.No interview shall be conducted for selection to these posts |
| PPSC Senior Assistant Exam Pattern | JOINT COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION for 198 posts of Senior Assistant in various departments of Government of Punjab Each question carries 4 marks and for each correct answer, the candidate will get 4 (four) marks. There will be negative marking (one mark for each question) in the written examination for questions wrongly answered i.e. for each incorrect answer, 1 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score Unanswered/unattempt questions will be given no marks. In case, a question is withdrawn, all candidates will be given four (04) marks irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate. |
