1. SSC JE Exam Pattern 2022
The SSC JE Exam is conducted in Following Two Tier, TIER-I, TIER-II. Tier-I is Compulsory for All SSC-JE Posts. Tier-2 is concerned subject/specialization exam. Candidates has to appear for TIER-I & TIER-2 of Subject Concerned .

1A. Important Points about SSC-JE TIER-I Exam
Junior Engineer TIER-I Examination would be common for all categories of posts and will be held in one session. If and wherever necessary, the examination may be held in 2(two) or more shifts and days for different batches of candidates.
Tier-I exam is used to screen the candidates for appearing in Tier-II. Marks of such screened candidates in Tier-I will be taken into account for final ranking of candidates for final selection. SSC JE Syllabus pdf download

1B. Important Points about SSC-JE TIER-II Exam
It will consist of three different sections of the papers / subject. Depending upon the branch chosen at the time of filling the application form, Only one subject EE,ME or CE is to be attempted.

3A. SSC JE Tier-1 Part-A General Intelligence & Reasoning Syllabus
The Syllabus for General Intelligence would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may include questions on : Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space visualization, Problem-solving, Analysis, Judgment, Decision making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series, etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions. |
3B. SSC JE Tier-1 Part-B General Awareness Syllabus
Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to : Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline. |
